Beech Grove Middle School A Team had trouble keeping up with GCJH Blue in a 12-0 loss on Thursday. GCJH Blue got on the board in the top of the first inning after Maddie L singled to center field, and Camilla A walked, each scoring one run. GCJH Blue added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Rylee C doubled down the left field line, L singled to center field, Olivia S doubled down the left field line, A doubled down the right field line, and Beech Grove Middle School A Team committed an error, each scoring one run. Samarah Turner took the loss for Beech Grove Middle School A Team. The hurler went three innings, giving up seven runs (five earned) on seven hits, striking out three and walking three. Riley B led things off in the circle for GCJH Blue. The hurler surrendered zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking one.
