Kyrah Pierle was dominant in the circle, as the righty rang up 13 strikeouts in Beech Grove Middle A Team's 5-4 victory over Fall Creek Valley on Wednesday. Pierle surrendered three hits and four runs over seven innings while walking four. Samarah Turner grounded out, which helped Beech Grove Middle A Team tie the game at one in the bottom of the second. Beech Grove jumped into the lead in the bottom of the sixth when Pierle singled, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs. Pierle, Payton Kelly, and Turner each drove in one run for Beech Grove Middle A Team. Addison Corn led Beech Grove Middle A Team with two hits in three at bats. Beech Grove Middle A Team turned one double play in the game.
