Who Gets Second Ball? The Setter! Sh’Rita and Olivia P. stepped up to the challenge of becoming setters for our 6th/7th grade team, and they continue to grow into the position each day. Being a setter requires hustle, quick decision-making, and the confidence to pursue the second ball whenever possible. Sh’Rita and Olivia are learning to move quickly to the ball, get themselves in position, and give their teammates a consistent ball to attack. Setting is a demanding role, and these two have embraced the challenge. Their effort and consistency continue to improve with every practice and match.
