Beech Grove Middle School Athletics

Last Saturday, September 23rd, the Lady Hornets hosted our Conference tournament. It was a long day and the girls worked so hard and earned 4th place! The first round we lost to Triton Central in a 2 set game. Both sets were close scores and the girls played their hearts out. There were lots of successful digs from the back row! Bella Mosier, libero, had the most, but had help from Hayden Fanning, Trinity Gaddis and Amiyah Dunn. Aliyah Hurrle, Brooklyn Lane and Trinity all had aces on the serving side. In front row news we had kills from Trinity, Hayden and Allison Ramirez. Although the girls looked good we lost and play for 3rd and 4th place. The second round we lost against Monrovia. Again the back row was on it with the digs. Bella, Hayden, Amiyah and Patricia Hurrle all together had 10! Aliyah, Hayden and Trinity all had aces. In the front row we had more successful kills than the first game coming from Amiyah, Hayden and Trinity. The girls return for their last game Tuesday to take on the Southport Lady Cardinals.
